As an artist, finding what I wanted to do with my art has always been a struggle - from painting, logo design, storyboarding, comics, and concept art. The pull from every direction turned my passion into a prison. I let the pressures of societal expectations subside and dug deep into who I was as a child.

From sun up to sun down, I drew. Pen or pencil, I always enjoyed the raw authenticity of traditional draftsmanship. The rough lines and strokes of the pen add character to the final vision.

Sci-fi/fantasy and horror have always intrigued me, from the beautiful kingdoms and colors of a utopia to the dark & desolate ruins of a dystopian landscape. The grotesque abominations created through technology as degeneracy takes over humanity by greed and corruption. A world that turned its back on God.

Contrasted by a world where anything is possible with God, where the desire for beauty is no more, beauty is default. Nature is in harmony with human creation, and love dictates all interactions. A world where nothing can hold the mind back from what is possible to build and create, vibrant colors and large but gentle beasts.

These are the two worlds I’m stuck between. One I’m running away from and the other I’m running towards, but sometimes you look back and see a 14-foot mech with machine guns tearing through an alleyway and say, “that’s pretty cool.”
